Golden Experience - Epilogue
“Epilogue”
How many years have passed since I started this game?
It felt both long and short, a strange sensation.
I thought I would still grow, but unfortunately, neither my in-game avatar nor my real body has changed much.
No, not yet. I’m not at an age to rush.
Anyway, let’s talk about the game.
Descending into this world as an elf girl who is weak to light, everything started from there.
When was it that I ravaged the city of Airfaren?
I had just been reincarnated as the Demon Lord back then, not quite understanding what I could and couldn’t do.
Come to think of it, when I destroyed Airfaren, I didn’t really use the power of the Demon Lord. It was more the power of Sugur, the Queen of Insects.
With that momentum, I advanced to the royal capital of Hills.
There, Lea experienced her first and last respawn.
If that hadn’t happened, I would have surely died in a more critical situation.
In that sense, I’m grateful.
It felt quick after conquering the Hills Kingdom.
Defeating the Archangel, collaborating with my companions to hold events, and effectively dominating the entire Central Continent.
In the midst of all that, through Bran’s connections, I met the vampire count and heard about the Golden Dragon.
It was the moment when Lea’s goal in the game became clear.
Was it after that when I went to the Western Continent?
Local companions like Geraldine and Zenobia increased, and there, I confronted the terminal of the Golden Dragon.
Defeating terminals in various places, accumulating power with other players, and finally defeating the Golden Dragon.
No one could stop Lea from becoming a god through that battle.
Whether in the Central Continent or in the world floating islands and continents that could be called the backside, it was the same.
Even the resurrected ancient gods were no exception.
The clash between “Divine Punishment” and “Divine Punishment” ended up obliterating an entire continent, with Rare being the one to emerge victorious in that battle.
By defeating one god, Rare was able to claim the seat of a new god, but there wasn’t any particular benefit to it. It was just a matter of occupying two slots. It’s similar to a shogi title.
Well, it’s not bad in the sense that having more challengers is a good thing. It means there won’t be a dull moment.
After defeating all the old gods, preparations were being made to invade the distant homeland of the Golden Dragon, accessible from the rift between dimensions. It seems the Golden Eel is casually mingling with the villagers. It’s something to look forward to.
And now—
A challenger, aiming for the seat of a god, stood before Rare.
“It’s been a while. Looks like you’ve finally made it here.
…How many times have we faced each other like this? But maybe this is the first time you’re fighting me to take something away. So far, you’ve just been a nuisance and not much of a threat.
Oh, the first time was different. Come to think of it, you did take my life once.
…You’re curious about the phrasing ‘took my life once’? I see.
Very well. Then, if you defeat me, I’ll tell you. Who I am and where I came from.
So show me. Show me the radiance of the experience points you’ve accumulated so far—”
★★★
This concludes the main story.
However, as it is a story of an online game, the tale will continue as long as the service persists.
It’s just like life, isn’t it? In other words, online games are life. They abruptly end due to factors beyond our control, just like life.
Therefore, there may be irregular postings in the future.
Since this is the first work I’ve posted and I have an attachment to it, maybe it’s okay to feel like it’s just the end of daily postings for now.
Although I’ve marked it as complete, I may remove it if I decide to resume.
If that happens, I might write a story before this epilogue, so I didn’t assign a number to the epilogue.
As of now, it’s been a bit challenging to add new episodes.
We will gradually work on additional episodes, character introductions, and the glossary that was requested earlier.
Oh, some of you might already know, but my work “Detective Big Sis” has been read on the Narou Radio for Novelists. I believe the back number is available on YouTube. It’s the 129th episode.
Although it’s not directly related to this work, I can’t help but mention that the unfortunate older sister and the cutest little sister have Tsugumi Yuiko’s voice, making it irresistibly charming. If you’re interested, please give it a listen.
If you’re interested, please do check it out.
Furthermore, this work has received a special award in the 7th Kakuyomu Contest Character Literature Division.
As a result, we are currently in discussions with various parties regarding its publication.
I can’t disclose specifics yet, but if there are any developments, I plan to announce them on Twitter or in the recent updates section.
If you’re interested, I hope you can check those out as well.
Also, I am currently writing a new work.
Due to various circumstances, progress has been a bit slow, but for now, I plan to post chapters of around 100,000 to 150,000 characters each gradually as I finish them.
I’m aiming for a long title challenge, so although it’s still a tentative title, I plan to tell a story like “What if the reincarnator ignores the scenario and the character born from the butterfly effect turns out to be a troublesome person.” The protagonist is planned to be the troublesome one.
Once I start posting, I would be grateful if you could read it.
Lastly, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for accompanying me for so long.

Currently, on Kakuyomu, I am also posting:
– “What if the reincarnator changes the scenario and the character born from the butterfly effect turns out to be a troublesome person. (Tentative)”
– “The Splendid Adventure of the Beautiful Countess (♂)”
If you’re interested, please check them out.
