I was Thrown into an Unfamiliar Manga - Chapter 323
I’m Not Sure What Manga This Is – Chapter 323
[Chapter 323] 2 Years Later
A year has already passed since I graduated from Ichijo Academy and followed the President to Kyoto University.
Unlike my eventful high school life, the year I spent in college was probably the happiest time I’ve had as ‘Kim Yuseong’.
That’s because I entered the Faculty of Integrated Human Studies as a freshman with the full support of the President, and I did what I wanted to do and studied what I wanted to learn.
Kyoto University is said to be a gathering of weirdos from all over Japan, but it would be hard to find someone as lucky as me.
Now, let’s go back in time for a moment. As soon as we graduated from high school, we had a group wedding ceremony.
It was the first time that a polygamist had married since the enactment of the polygamy special exception law in Japan, so it was likely to become a topic of conversation in many ways, but thanks to the President, Ivan, and Naoto-san joining forces to suppress the media with overwhelming power, our wedding ceremony did not end up decorating the front page of a morning newspaper.
Of course, aside from everything else, it was difficult to get my parents’ permission to marry.
It would be natural to collapse with a hand on the back of the neck when you are told that the wedding is not enough, but there is only one husband and eight wives.
Thanks to that, every time we received permission to marry, we had to go out in a group and vow that we would never regret it before we could get married.
…To be honest, I was a little scared when Sojiro-san came out of the study with an air gun.
Anyway, after all those twists and turns-
The President, Rika, Karen, Sasha, Huma-senpai, Nao, Meiling, and Ayase are now legally my wives.
Thinking about it now, I feel like it was possible to have such a ridiculous wedding ceremony, but isn’t it okay if the parties involved are happy…?

My morning starts a little earlier than most people.
I guess it’s because I’m used to exercising at dawn, so when I get out of bed, I often end up waking other people up unintentionally.
“Umm…Ryu-chan?”
Especially when Rika, who is sensitive to movement, tries to get up while rubbing her eyes, I pat her head and whisper to her to sleep a little more.
“…Yeah. Okay.”
Then Rika groaned cutely and pulled the covers up to the top of her head again.
I smiled softly at the sight and carefully closed the door and went out to the living room.
What I can see beyond the sliding glass door in the living room is the old-fashioned scenery of Kyoto.
It was still dark because the sun hadn’t risen yet, and the dim scenery made me feel a strange sense of sentimentality.
‘I’ll do it at home today because it’s a pain.’
Originally, when I was in high school, I would have put on my training clothes and gone out to exercise without fail, but now there is no need to do that.
That’s because the new house the President prepared for me has a home gym just for me.
Thump! Thump! Thump!
I got on the treadmill and started running at a light 10km pace.
“Huff, huff, huff, huff.”
Maybe because it’s summer, I started sweating right away.
Even though I could have turned on the air conditioner, I personally avoid doing so as much as possible during exercise because I don’t feel like I’ve worked out unless I sweat.
When sweat finally beaded up on my forehead, I got off the treadmill and moved on to bench press, dumbbell curls, lateral raises, and military presses to focus on my upper body.
After finishing my morning workout, I took a cool shower and finished off with a protein shake.
This was my usual morning routine.
“Huuuuh~”
Just then, Rika, who had been in the bedroom, came out into the living room looking completely disheveled.
As I set her breakfast on the Irish table, I asked,
“Did you stay up late working on your assignments again yesterday?”
Rika replied with her eyes half-closed, “Yeah.”
As I poured milk into her cereal bowl, I asked her how things were going these days.
Rika sleepily scooped up cereal as she replied,
“Just, so-so.”
“So-so?”
“Yeah.”
Rika continued to give short answers and mechanically eat her cereal.
I watched her with concern, and when my gaze fell on her tangled hair, I went to the bedroom and brought back a spray bottle and a comb.
Then, as I combed her tangled hair, I said,
“If there’s anyone around who’s giving you a hard time, let me know. I’ll go and scold them for you.”
Rika laughed out loud as she let me tend to her.
“If Ryu-chan came in person, everyone in our department would be surprised.”
“I don’t care about that. I have to scold all the bad people who are bothering Rika.”
“Hoo hoo, just hearing that makes me feel better.”
As she said that and ate her cereal, Rika looked up at me with an Ah- expression as if she had just remembered something.
“Oh, by the way, Ryu-chan, I have a drinking party today.”
“What time?”
“Hmm, 7 o’clock? I’m going to drink with my classmates.”
“Then I’ll come and pick you up in the evening.”
“Isn’t that a bother? I can come home by myself.”
I heard Rika’s naive words and put my hands on my hips.
“Rika, as I’ve said before, all the men in the world are wolves. If a pretty girl like Rika is left unguarded, there will be guys who will try to take advantage of you.”
“Ah, is that because Ryu-chan has read too many erotic mangas?”
“Reality is usually worse than fiction. So, tell me the name of the store.”
When I said that and stared at her firmly, Rika replied with a playful smile, “Yes, mom,” and then obediently told me the name of the store.
I checked the location of the store on Google Maps and said, “I’ll come and pick you up around the time the drinking party ends.” Then I took my hands off her head.
Rika, who now looked neat and tidy, slurped up the milk that had been left over from the cereal and stood up with the bowl in her hand, making an “Ugh-” sound like an old man.
“Well then, let’s both do our best today. Ryu-chan.”
“Yeah. You too, Rika.”
I said that and patted Rika’s small butt.

Rika is currently studying hard to become a fashion designer.
Rika, who had always been interested in fashion and beauty, entered a university in Kyoto after being introduced by her mother, Maria, and is currently studying design with great success.
Perhaps it was because she had been making cosplay costumes and cosplaying herself with her mother since she was little?
If so, Maria had unintentionally given Rika an early education.
Since the distance between school and home was a bit far, I left home at around 8 am by bicycle, unlike Rika, who took the bus to school.
Perhaps because the chairman considered the location when choosing a house, the distance from the newlywed house to Kyoto University was only about 10 minutes by bicycle.
As I pedaled hard, I could see the clock tower and zelkova trees, which were symbols of Kyoto University, in the distance.
Thanks to the vastness of the school grounds, I arrived at the faculty building in Yoshida Minami after a long walk even after passing through the school gate.
After parking my bicycle, I was walking up the stairs in a hurry when I spotted a familiar face and greeted him.
“Good morning, Professor.”
“Oh, welcome. Kim.”
The professor who greeted me now is Professor Tawara of the Faculty of History.
Since I belong to the Faculty of Integrated Humanities, I often had to take various liberal arts classes, and Professor Tawara was someone I met then.
At first, I wondered what he was talking about when he suddenly came up to me, but it turned out that he was one of the guests who had come to my wedding.
“I guess you have class from the first period today?”
“Yes, I have a Russian language class at 9 o’clock.”
As I said that and pointed to the second floor, the professor laughed and said, “You seem to be studying hard.”
Perhaps because he was happy to see me after a long time, Professor Tawara seemed to want to catch up with me, but since there was not much time left before class, I cut him off.
“Well, I’ll be going now. Class is about to start.”
Professor Tawara looked disappointed and said, “Come and visit our department office when you have time. I’ll treat you to a cup of tea.”
“Yes, I’ll keep that in mind.”
Of course, I had no intention of actually going.
If I went, I would be stuck for almost 3 hours as his conversation partner.
After bowing politely and saying goodbye without looking back, I went up to the second floor and was relieved to arrive at the classroom just in time.
“Phew, that was close.”
Professors are sensitive to attendance in both Korea and Japan, so being late without a special reason can have a negative impact on your grade.
Passing by students from other departments who were gathered in twos and threes talking about yesterday’s drinking party, I sat down in the back of the classroom and took out my tablet from my bag to prepare for class.
Thud!
Someone sat down next to me, and I noticed the familiar scent of perfume and called out her name with a grin.
“You don’t seem to have any work today, Kumiko.”
The president, who had her black hair tied back in a ponytail, looked at me and replied with a charming smile.
“Even if I did, I would have to skip it, wouldn’t I? It’s the only class I have with you once a week.”
