First of all, regarding this work, ‘Taming the Villain’s Daughter’, even I, Michuri, am still a bit bewildered, thinking “Has it really come to an end…?”

Even now, when I close my eyes, I can clearly picture the month of April or May, when I, Michuri, was filled with trepidation….

At that time, I, Michuri, was thinking “My advance payments are dwindling……! I need to quickly write something and get the advance payment from Novelpia…!” or “I absolutely have to write a great work for my next one…!”

So I had no choice but to start writing relatively quickly, and I vaguely mixed together concepts like “reincarnated character. academy. struggling protagonist.”

And finally, one day in May, I started the first serialization…!

At that time, a lot of really interesting works were popping up on Novelpia like comets, leaving an impact on the readers…. Elves, witches, etc.

The common point, you might say… is that they all featured heroines who were like villains…!

I, Michuri, thought “Do the readers of Novelpia like heroines with this kind of villainous feel…? If that’s the case…!” and so one by one, the villainous young ladies entered the story…!

So since I was already featuring villainous heroines….

Let’s write a story about a protagonist who is like a villain who treats those heroines violently, and let’s include a lot of R-19 scenes─with that kind of wicked ambition, I started the beginning of the story….

But as the story progressed, the dark clouds of wicked ambition inside me, Michuri, gradually dissipated….

And it became a story about a strange and sometimes foolish protagonist, Tae-oh, and the young ladies who gradually grow fond of that half-elf, Tae-oh…!

This was something I really didn’t expect…!

At some point, I, Michuri, was also running along thinking I don’t know what’s going on anymore─!

But I’m so grateful that the readers cheered on the story of Michuri, Tae-oh, and the young ladies with such kindness, and that you enjoyed it…!

Anyway, I’ve gotten sidetracked…!

What I wanted to say is that I, Michuri, still vividly remember that feeling from when I first started writing the story….

So it’s unbelievable that a whole year has passed by so quickly, and that the story has come to an end, and it’s both sad and not sad….

That might be why the epilogue after the end of the story became so long…, originally I was planning for it to be from November to December.

I was planning for the epilogue after the end of the story to be around 15 to 30 chapters, but it ended up being over 50 chapters, and it exceeded my plans in various ways…!

However, no matter how much I try to stop time, the last day of the year has come.

Tae-oh and his family’s story also came to an end as planned…!

However, I felt like their lives were not over yet, so I ended the special side story with a very faint open ending. I wonder how the readers will interpret it….

Also, I sometimes think I want to write a side story like ‘Leonoi’s Academy Diary’ once a quarter or so…. In fact, it may not be a complete ending…!

That is something I expect from the Michuris of the distant future, the Michuris of next year…!

Anyway, this year has definitely been the most peaceful, grateful, and prosperous year of my life as Michuri…!

The readers always support me generously, and the people in charge of Novelpia also support me with cute emoticons (there was also a very interesting reading session…!).

I feel like I’ve gained a lot of experience through this story, ‘Raising the Villain Young-ae,’ that I’ve never had before…!

Also, I think I’ve achieved some meaningful results…!!!
